An interactive decision flowchart for shoulder complaints. After red flag screening it applies the apprehension and relocation tests, the Jerk and Kim tests for posterior labral involvement, Hawkins-Kennedy for subacromial pain, the external rotation lag sign and Hornblower for posterior cuff integrity, the belly-press test for subscapularis, and the Park combination of Hawkins-Kennedy with a painful arc and a weak infraspinatus. It separates anterior glenohumeral instability, SLAP labral tear, subacromial impingement syndrome, rotator cuff tear, and specialist referral.
