Somalynk Software
Digital tools built from clinical experience, not from the outside looking in.
Clinical practice software
Everything a physiotherapy practice runs on, in one place.
Scheduling, clinical documentation, outcome tracking, invoicing and payment reconciliation. Designed by a physiotherapist, for physiotherapists: every feature exists because it was needed in a real clinical session.
Analysis
Is it working, for this patient?
Every pain score entered in a session note goes onto one chart, split at the day treatment started. The software pairs each visit before that day with each visit after it and counts how often the later one was the better of the two. Below are two patients with the same complaint and the same number of visits.
Responding
Illustrative patient A · low back pain
By the twelfth visit her scores sit below every score she recorded before treatment, and the trend fitted to the treatment phase falls away from the baseline one.
NAP 0.957 · 96% of before/after pairs favour after
Mann-Whitney p = 0.0101 · n = 5 + 7
Tau-BC 0.603, baseline trend removed
Not responding
Illustrative patient B · low back pain
His scores stay where they were. The treatment trend sits at the same level as the baseline one, and the two confidence intervals cover the same range of scores.
NAP 0.586 · 59% of before/after pairs favour after
Mann-Whitney p = 0.6404 · n = 5 + 7
Tau-BC 0.169, baseline trend removed
- Baseline visit, before treatment
- Treatment visit, responding
- Treatment visit, not responding
- Trend fitted to that phase
- 95% confidence interval for that trend line
Illustrative data. Both series are synthetic. The statistics printed under them are not: they are the output of the software’s own analysis module run on exactly these twelve numbers.
Each shaded band is the 95% confidence interval for the trend line of its own phase. It is not a forecast, and it is not drawn across the phase that follows it. No band is drawn at all for a phase holding fewer than four measurements.
Below five measurements in each phase the software issues no verdict. It prints “Not enough data for a verdict” and leaves the numbers standing as description, which is what the reporting standards for single-case designs ask for. Both patients above clear that bar with five baseline and seven treatment visits.
A before-and-after comparison on one person cannot separate the treatment from
natural recovery, from regression to the mean, or from anything else happening at the same time. The
report says so on every verdict it prints. Computed with scipy.stats.mannwhitneyu,
theilslopes and kendalltau; the estimators are not our own.

Documentation and notes
For the patient

Billing, payments and accounting
Matching is computed automatically on every PSD2 bank line. A payment made by scanning the QR code confirms itself; anything else is one tap for the therapist to confirm before it counts as matched.

Patient loginMoving to Somalynk
What onboarding covers, and what happens to your data after.
Years of patient records in another system is the real cost of switching software. Here is what moving actually involves, step by step.
-
Your current system
Whatever it is today: paper, a spreadsheet, another package. It keeps running. Nothing changes until you are ready.
-
Day 0: your records start moving in
Your existing patient list, including from another practice package, is imported as part of onboarding. Past invoices are OCR-scanned in bulk, so a patient’s payment history is rebuilt instead of retyped. Every new patient from here on is auto-filled from their eID card.
-
Week 1: both systems, in parallel
Nothing in your old system is switched off. You keep using it alongside Somalynk until you trust what you see.
-
Assisted go-live
This is what onboarding covers: someone checks the imported data with you and walks you through the first live week, before your old system is retired.
-
And any day after that
Export everything, patient by patient: sessions, invoices, notes and scanned documents, as CSV and the original PDFs, one click from the patient record, no request, no fee. Your data never has a hostage clause.
